February 7, 2010 — added an article with photographs of the Great Wall of China

January 29, 2010 — Published the first installment of an account of an epic journey across China on bicycle in 1891 Also the second part which described the crossing of the Gobi Desert.

January 19, 2010 — Published an article about fortune cookies.

January 18, 2010 — added an a portion of a 1911 encyclopedia article about the history of  China.

January 17, 2010 – converted the site to a wordpress theme. Still  need to tweak the appearance. Note to self: wordpress default has a robot exclusion that keeps googlebot out. Make sure to activate public option on all installations.

Also added several new articles about Chinese coal mines, and amazing Chinese inventions.  An article about travel in rural China describes the hardships that travelers faced when they ventured into the interior.

September 27, 2009 — temporarily removed Adsense while site is developed

December 17, 2008 — added google adsense to the front page. Created a privacy policy.
